                        This is NOT a complete game! This game is in its very early stages.

The release date/beta release date of OTAMAMANIA! isn't something I've decided too much yet. It might not even end up becoming a full game! (Due to burnout and laziness from me) I am putting as much effort as possible into this game, while not forcing myself to work on it and it still being something I enjoy. I've been working on it for about 6 months (VERY on and off). OTAMAMANIA! is a very story based RPG focused on mechanics like mood, stamina, hunger, and dialog. The 4 basic moods are: Willingness, Tiredness, Hapiness, and DREAD (More on that Later) The less happy you get, the less willing you get, and the less willing you get the more dreadful you get. The more dreadful you get, the more distorted things become and the darker the theme of the game becomes. All of these moods are affected by your gameplay and affect how you end up playing. So far, the public build of the game has barebones features like a movement system, the beginning of the dialog system (go down and left once you load the game to find an npc), and enough art to show what the theme of the game will be like (not all of the art I have made is in the game yet, some was made on a different computer, so I need to transfer it to my main computer to implement it into the game) Here is an example of some art I made for the player character:

Since this game is far from it's final form, please only judge on what I have said in this description, and the art in the game. This is a big project for me, as I am making all of the art, sound effects, music, story, and game logic. I can't wait to release what I have in store in the next couple of months!

I am coming back to this project! I'll be working on it whenever I feel I want to or should, so updates won't be released extremely often. In the newest version, I've switched to godot (MUCH BETTER ENGINE) and have added a TON of aesthetic features. I am also currently working on a dialogue system as this will mostly be a story based game.
